A God Story From Our Night of Baptism

Larry and Lynn DeWitt clean up the papers in the worship center on Sunday mornings. They also ushered last night at pond.

    Enjoy this email from them:

Sunday was a day full of blessings for us! The service was awesome and we felt the message for just for us. How we needed to hear it! We cleaned up after the 2nd service and on our way out of the sanctuary I noticed a lady sitting on a chair in the dark. I spoke to her and she said she was waiting for the baptism service. She was mentally challenged and had gotten a ride to the 1st service and was being driven home after the picnic by one of the volunteers. Therefore she was alone and sitting in the dark. We invited her to come spend the day with us. We went to Fennville and picked apples and peaches. We gave her a bag that she could put her own fruit in. She was so very happy!! She said she had never picked fruit before and was very pleased with her pickings. "Thank you Jesus for this day", she exclaimed! We were so blessed and so glad that the Lord put Mary in our path.

Thank you, God, for being in control. We find that nothing is really by chance but by God's plan.

We are so blessed! CWC has afforded us so many opportunities to grow.

Thank you for all you do!

    Lynn DeWitt
