Prayer Shawl Thanks

Jeff and Jayne Berens have been part of Central Wesleyan's fellowship for several years. They have recently moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado. Now Jayne is in intensive care in a Denver hospital. A shawl made by Lila Meyer was sent to her.

Dear Prayer Shawl Ministry,
I received many gifts during my stay at the hospital, one of which was a prayer shawl. I cried when I opened the package because a woman I had never met knitted me this shawl. The stitches were woven with prayers just for ME! Thank you, thank you, thank you for knitting and sending me the prayer shawl. It was such a blessing to have that in the hospital and now at home. It was a good conversation starter with the nursing staff and a great tool to share Christ! I have the shawl on my rocker where I pray and read my Bible. I LOVE it! Thank you for thinking of me, and please let Lila know how much I appreciate this gift.
