Lola, is a one of our shut-ins and just lost her husband a couple months ago.
I have seen her on the following dates:
October 5th, 12th 19th
On those dates she was happy to see me and just enjoyed talking about the weather and the birds and flowers outside. It had been windy so she preferred not to go outside for our walk. She inquired each day about my family and enjoyed hearing about them. She had fallen and was very sore the 19th when I was there-but we went for our walk anyway. She speaks clearly and seems to understand all that I say. She states she has no family, children or otherwise. So we have just have fun with small talk and our walks and she loves showing me the birds every time. She does not recognize or remember me or the visits we have had. So I just say that I am visiting her today because I enjoy speaking with her and enjoy our walks.
