More than 120 children and parents packed into our Kingdom Clubhouse for a great night of worshipping and great stories. I want to express thanks to Debbie Heiser and Dawn Heneveld for their work on this event. Parents were enthusiastic as their children enjoyed puppets and stories presented by our early childhood volunteers. I was proud of our middle school students who assisted by making and serving warm cookies. Those cookies were really good!
Sunday Chapel Jam
As part of our strategy to introduce our young kids to the experience of large group worship, we have started "Chapel Jam." We combine 3, 4, and 5-year olds for worship in the Chapel. This past Sunday was our third experience. An amazing team of volunteers spent hours producing a 45 minute program. It was incredible. The presentation included video, drama, and music. The future of our church is in the experiences we are building with our youngest worshippers. I am so appreciative and proud of our early childhood volunteers and their commitment to excellence.
