Breakfast with Baby Update

'Breakfast with Baby' has been running for four months now. We have served and connected with over 35 families in our community. Many families are hearing about this program from Lakeshore Pregnancy Center, Holland Rescue Mission, Intercare and personal invites from our awesome lead team. This month I challenged each person on our lead team to match with one family as the Spirit led and plan on making a weekly connect. Whether a phone call, a note of encouragement, a visit to the hospital when the baby is born, a conversation over coffee...we desire to walk with these families who are need of help.

This month we hosted a special Christmas Breakfast with extra give aways. We raffled off a handmade baby blanket, ten $10 gift cards, baby stockings filled with lotions and a 7 ft. pre-lit Christmas tree! God hand picked the family to receive this donated tree. They live at Harbor Village and walked over for breakfast. They did not have a tree. They did not attend a church. To follow up, our Revolution Community Group went to bless some folks at Harbor Village the next day and I ran into this family again. They invited me into their apartment to show me their new tree. They were sooooo proud! Then they told me they needed to get ready for church:)

We gave a beautiful crib to a mom at Harbor Village, two moms went home with strollers and every month each mom goes home with diapers, wipes, a new baby outfit and a used baby outfit. Thank you to all who are donating to this ministry! We could not do it without you.
