    Kids Hope Prayer

What a precious time we had at Jefferson Saturday Morning as 21 folks gathered to pray for the staff, kids and mentors. It was a beautiful morning… freshly fallen snow clinging to dormant plant life, as well as coating the homes of our community. It made me think of how Jesus promises to wash us whiter than snow…WOW! We had hot coffee and donuts to fellowship over, and then the time of prayer. How rich.

We had signature sheets made up for many staff people. There were personal messages of encouragement and promise of continued prayer expressed on these sheets from those who prayed Saturday. We put them in their mail boxes at the school for Monday.

I’m including a few pictures…along with the following comments that were made.

“While I was praying, I felt like I was part of God’s army doing battle against the enemy!”

“I couldn’t help but remember the teachers that impacted my life growing up at this school. Praying they will continue to impact and touch kids in ways that they will never forget.”

“Seeing all the organization of the classrooms, and the personality of the teachers coming out in how they organize, decorate etc. made me realize how dedicated these individuals are. It is a calling, not a job for them!”

“I pictured an angelic bubble being placed over and around the school and also the Jefferson community. I think God is going to do some amazing things second semester.”

I stopped by the school this morning, and one teacher commented about the signed messages left for various teachers. She said, “What a great way to start a Monday morning, knowing not only that I was prayed for, but these messages simply made my day. They are so encouraging and uplifting. Thank you for thinking of this!”
