    Good Stuff

We've seen some wonderful ministry here at Central in the past few days:

I have heard multiple stories of CWC women bringing others who don’t know Christ to Ladies Christmas Desserts. I’ve heard of positive exchanges, beautiful table settings, neat relationships begun, good organization, good communication…all good!

Holland Public Schools have used our facilities for Christmas events and have been met with exceptional service by our Facilities Crew and others. The place looks terrific and rings of Christmas. We’re seeking to prepare our lobby in such a way that as people come they’re able to pick up material about Central if they wish and, we believe, one more obstacle is removed from their someday coming to Central and hearing the Gospel.

Kevin’s message on Sunday was one of the best messages on outreach I’ve heard in a long time. I was so moved that I went home and invited two families to consider coming to the Christmas Party for Jesus that evening. In addition, I’m going to a place of business I frequent and am dropping off invitations to “Noel.”

The Christmas Party for Jesus was terrific! I was thrilled to see all the families with young children present, grandparents, and lots of folks I’ve never seen before. What a great, fun night! And in the midst of all the fun, laughter and humor was the presentation of the Christmas story.

And there’s so much more yet to come this month: the Christmas Plunge, Noel, the Christmas Eve service, the regional Wesleyan Youth Convention in Louisville (We have 50 high school and middle school students going from CWC, and they're expecting between 2500 and 3000 students total). Let’s pray that the Lord will abundantly bless these endeavors and draw people close to Himself.

    Pastor Paul
