    Crossroads Good News

I joined Crossroads at its beginning in 2007-8. However, at that time I was too stressed to fully participate. I lost my job in Holland and felt very emotionally drained. I had feelings of abandonment and disconnection that would not go away. I did attend a few classes but didn't feel strong enough to stay connected to the group. Little did I know God was in charge. The heavenly hounds of our Savior followed me as I moved to my second home 100 miles away.

While I was still unemployed I no longer felt unworthy and unqualified for employment. God provided for all my needs according to his riches and glory, just as he promised. I am so blessed!

After several months of no luck in job searching there I moved home to Lake County. I made friends, my name got around, and then when a job opened up the friends mentioned my name and spoke well of me. I am now in my fourth month on the new job! It hasn’t been easy, but every morning I thank God for the new day. At lunch I read a passage from the Bible and on the way home I sing to our Heavenly Father. Just in the past week I have struggled with a demeaning boss and a lazy coworker, but through all of this I have still had the most wonderful week at work. I am so grateful to our Heavenly Father. God has plans for each of us!
