    Food Distribution

We have some wonderful people in our congregation! After worship the weekend of September 27, volunteers distributed over 2,000 frozen meals to folks in the congregation who used one meal for themselves and gave another away to someone in need.

I’ve heard two stories of folks in our congregation who were blessed immediately by this food because they were out of grocery money. The DeWitt family's generous donation of food gave Central Wesleyan folks the opportunity to meet needs in our community. We are so grateful for their willingness to give out of their resources to bless the community. The Draisma family, who own PVT Trucking, also helped with the food distribution by providing a semi-truck and drivers to pick up the food Friday, store it in a freezer truck, and deliver it to Central on Sunday. They even arranged to drive a pallet to CityLife Chruch in Grand Rapids for us!

Please say a quick prayer for those in our community who received the food with no strings attached. Pray for the seeds that may have been planted, the conversations the food prompted, and the hearts impacted.
