    Senior God Sightings

Recently a senior lady visited our class. She was looking for love and acceptance. It was great to witness the seniors reach out to her and accept her into our class. It wasn't long before she became a "regular" in class, and we continue to watch the Lord meet her needs.

Earlier this year one of our seniors went to be with the Lord. I stood at his bedside with his wife, and we prayed and wept together as this new convert was now forever with his Savior.

It's been a joy to watch the seniors respond to the big picture. This is so obvious when I see them invite and pray for friends as they participate in Imagine Christmas. This was a "new" program to them. How neat when one couple filled up their car with neighbors and brought them to Imagine.

The seniors' love for God and people is also witnessed when annually they travel to a White Caps game. Afterwards they board the church bus, they stop at Evergreen Commons and pick up 10 to 12 seniors who need special attention and love. It is so great to watch them share Jesus in such a practical way!
