here it is...
I sit down to write this exhausted but humbled by the powerful new-creation work that God's doing here in students' lives... We finished the last two days of camp strong, spending time with lost students and encouraging our partners on the polish student ministry team. As we told the jesus-story, and shared the news of the cross and empty tomb, as well as told stories of God's presence in each of our lives, it was amazing to see what happened. We got to see the reality firsthand of what paul describes in romans when he says that the gospel-story is God's power in action that transforms lives! All in all, 7 students gave their lives to Christ at this camp, and many, many more who came to camp as skeptical or curious took significant steps toward embracing faith! We're excited to see those who are curious get connected to the student ministry here in Zory this coming year, and to see those who've responded to the gospel strengthened and grown in Christ. Thanks so much for praying for us!!! We packed up and left camp yesterday morning, and after a 11 hour train ride, arrived in katowice, where we'll spend a day and a half debriefing this experience together, before getting on the plane tomorrow afternoon to head back home. Pray for wisdom, guidance, and courage for our team together as we unpack all that God's done in us and through us, and explore the ways he's stretched us, grown us, and shaped the life of his Son in us. We'll see you tomorrow night!
