I just returned from visiting VanRaalte Elementary School where I stood in the teacher's lounge and listened to 28 teachers and one principal express overwhelming gratitude at the generous hearts and gifts that Central small groups and families shared with them. They are so deeply thankful for the much needed class room supplies, but even more for your support and encouragement.
Here is a snippet from one of the thank-you emails I received today:
"As a wife who knows how hard it has been for the Holland teachers/schools......I just wanted to thank you for making his day, for helping him to feel valued, for being a blessing. He told me and others last night that this "gift" has been, by far, one of the best things that has happened to him in his 31 years of teaching... Saying thank you doesn't seem like enough but THANKS for caring and sharing God's love - we have been touched! "
Way to go Central Wesleyan. Thank you small groups! Your influence is truly being felt in one inner-city school today! Thanks be to God!
